From a 375ml can on 28/6/2026. Pours an unexpected very deep amber with a medium head. The nose features some citrus and dark fruit, and some toasty malt. Presents as a fruity ale with citrus, berries, and dark and dried fruit, with light toasted and biscuit malt in the background. Finishes with a modest fruity bitterness. Fullish body with moderate carbonation. Doesn't present as big as 8% and I would never pick it as an imperial IPA, but it's just really pleasant and nicely balanced. A very enjoyable oddity.

From a 375ml can on 30/10/2025. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a smallish head. Has a muted fruity nose. The sip brings a bit more life to proceedings, with good dash of orange and mango, leading into a moderate citric bitterness that’s tangy and just a touch spicy. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Solid enough, but won’t change your life.

Day 17:
Capital Brewing Haze Oasis
Pale Ale 4.5%
Nice gold color with thick white foam and a tangy sweet tarts (the candy) aroma. Medium bodied, it has a raspy carbonation and a kind of watermelon flavor. Heavily carbonated but alright.

375ml can from BWS, Rockdale Plaza. Low Gluten. Clear golden colour, foamy white head and aroma of grains, cardboard. Taste is tangy, light malt, grain, vegetal, with slight cardboardy notes, and some bitterness. Light bodied, high carbonation, drying papery bitter finish. Not the best.

375ml can from BWS, Lane Cove. Poured clear yellow golden colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is light cardboard yeast. The flavour is light bitter, with a weak, watery, light herbal, light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with lively initial carbonation. Truly awful. Low on carbs and calories but I’d rather drink carbonated water than this.
