A really nice beer. Aromas of roasted malts - caramel, toast and even a bit of coffee - plus pine needles and grapefruit. Similar tastes in the mouth. There's reallly good body and satisfying aftertaste that lingers longer.

Another #ratebeersupertasters can. Light amber and hazy. Citrus nose. Citrus flavours. Blood orange abounds. Load of bitterness. Again lacks the juiciness and chewiness to make it a standout NEIPA. but very drinkable.

From a 375ml can on 11/10/2019. Pours a clear deep golden with bugger all head. The nose is quite strong with lots of dank tropical fruit and piney, resiny hops. Tastes of orange, peach mango and lime with a big bitter hop finish - lots of resin and pine, with a hint of grapefruit. The mouthfeel is slick and a touch oily, the carbonation moderate to average. This is a damned impressive, bold, full on, straight up DIPA. Most of the Capital's gear I've tried has been pretty good, but this is the first one to really blow me away. It's right up there with its city sister Cluster 8 for mine, which is high praise coming from me.

Can (as Ratebeer Supertaster). Light amber. Pine nose. Some tropical flavours, but not as big as I hoped.

(Can) Pours clear amber brown with small white head. Nice aroma - pine with floral notes and toffee hints. Medium body with good bright carbonation. Taste has a nice fruity start. Some dark toffee notes develop, then some good bitterness in the finish. Nice beer.

(Can) Pours hazy amber with small white head. Nice aroma of piney hops. Medium bodied, smooth with bright carbonation. Taste is a nice balance of biscuity malt and hop bitterness. There’s some subtle fruity notes in the mix too. Nice beer.

375mL can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, biscuity malt, and some herbal notes. Flavour is quite bright, with slick piney hops, some resins, and gentle stone fruitiness. Quite crisp and astringent in bitterness. Nice and quaffable IPA. Good stuff.

Half pint on tap at Bank Hotel, Newtown. Black beer with a thin film of suds on top. Nose is cocoa and distant cherry. Full bodied and viscous. Monster cherry hit! Dry, tart, like schwarzwaldkuche in a glass. Amazing, startling and eye-widening. As it warms, more levels reveal themselves. Finish has touches of caramel and dry hops, but mostly its all about the cherries. Superb.

Pint on tap at Club Rivers, Riverwood. Hazy Amber beer with a thin white head that dissipates. Nose is guava and passionfruit. Some lacing. Taste is tart, sour, fruity. Finish is dry and yeasty with late grapefruit. Nice refresher.
