Description

Slightly hazy yellow color, short white head. Weak aroma of grain, spice. Dry taste, slightly alcoholic maybe. Unimpressive brew.

An amber beer with a small disappearing orange head. The aroma is sweet and totally dominated by yeast though it also has weak hints of fruit and honey. The flavor is very sweet with notes of fruit, yeast, coriander, and other spices - before a dry end sets in.

An orange beer with a small disappearing head. The aroma is sour from citrus and wheat combined with hints of caramel. The flavor is as the aroma but without the caramel.

A light orange beer with an OK collapsing head. The aroma is sweet with notes of yeast, vanilla, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruit, yeast, vanilla, and alcohol. The mouthfeel turns thin in the middle before the alcohol sets in, in the end.

A very explosive beer. The color is orange with sediment floating around and a disappearing head. The aroma is primarily of coriander. The flavor is dry with notes of coriander - quite boring.

A red beer with sediment floating around and a beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of oranges and honey. The flavor is boring with notes of oranges. It is rather carbonated and has a thin body. It would not categorize this as a porter - inspite of the name.

Amber color; thick head. Simple aroma, with some vanilla and caramel. Peculiar flavor, with a touch of roasted malt, smoked malt and nuts; a bit harsh. Too strong ending bitterness (burnt sugar). Not bad, but odd…

Amber color; creamy head. Delicate aroma, dominated by the vanilla. Quite good malty taste, with strong caramel character and decent hopping. Probably not a Porter, but the most enjoyable of this series of 3 Duimpje’s.
