15/11/2018. Bottle shared with Danlo and SHIG. Pours mid brown with a very short lasting head. Aroma of dark fruit, chocolate, malt, prune, toffee and a hint of liquorice. Medium sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight sticky texture, soft carbonation. Bitterness to finish. Nice.

660ml bottle from the brewery shared with Grumbo and SHIG at Grumbo's not the only rater in Suffolk tasting. Amber brown colour, tan foam head and malty dried fruity aroma. Taste is sweet, malt, toffee, caramel, molasses, dried fruits with some nutty and earthy notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle: Poured red edges with dark brown core carbonated off white head that dissipated fast. Aroma is sweet candy malts. Taste is sweet candy sugary, malty robust finish. Some alcohol heat in my cheeks.

Tap at Black Font Brewery. Hazy orange golden colour, white foam head leaving lacing and fruity hoppy aroma. Taste is pale malt, caramel with mellow fruity, zesty, citrus, pine, hop resiny bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable

Tap at Black Font Brewery. Black colour, thin beige foam head leaving lacing and floral hop aroma. Taste is smokey malt, meaty, roasted with tangy citrus, woody pine and hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Very drinkable Black IPA.

Tap at Black Font Brewery. Golden reddish colour, pinkish foam head leaving lacing and sour raspberry aroma. Taste is sour, tart, citrus rind, raspberries, funky, alittle oak and pale malt. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry sour tangy fInish. Very drinkable.

On tap at the brewery. Pours dark red brown. Raisins, sultanas, dried cherries, brandy, bit of plum, lots of brandy, cherry liqueur, biscuit, caramel. A big boozy fruit cake and not bad at all.

On nitro at the brewery. Pours black with a nitro off white head. Coffee, really good coffee, bourbon, vanilla, hazelnut, chocolate, toast, dusty coffee grounds. Not the creamiest nitro body I've had. Very good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black. Blueberry, cherry, raspberry, chocolate, biscuits, lemon juice, odd finish. Good body. Maybe tried a bit much, doesn't quite come together.
