Clear dark brown colour, dissipating off-white head. Aroma starts with red fruts, quickly taken over by toast, roasted malts, very pronounced iron. Light raisins. Flavour metallic, sweet, lots of caramel. Quite cloying. Short finish, sweet and loads of caramel.
Rather disappointing actually.
(From 30cL bottle @ home. 7.5% ABV. As: Grunn Bock - Dé Klassieker. No mention of Primeur but barcode is the same. BB 05 Jan ’13)

Clear very pale gold beer. Sweet alcohol and a little fruit on the nose. Light palate. Crisp and semi dry. Minerally with obvious alcohol. A little fruit. Feels a bit like a cheap strong lager but it’s more bitter than that.
