18/7/2025. From BIAB at the Exeter Arms, Uppingham, Rutland. Nice passion fruit and raspberry aroma. Fairly sweet initially but with some tangy fruits coming through. Quite decent.

4/3/2023. From BIAB at the 46th Loughborough Beer Festival. Pours almost clear very pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of mild pomegranate, rubber, some elderflower but more so to taste. Medium sugary sweetness, tart edge. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Okay.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Pale golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of floral notes, fruity, elderflower. Taste is sweet, apple, elderflower, mellow, slight tartness. Medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering sweet finish. Quite OK.

Sample courtesy Grumbo. No head. Color is pale golden. Aroma and taste are apples, little acid, fruit and has a light sweet apple finish. A few notes of elderflowers.

On draught at the Old Horse, Leicester. Straw yellow, clear with a ring of white head. Apple alongside some grassy notes in the aroma. Sweet taste, slightly soapy, with a bit of that coveted apple tang mid-sip. Medium texture to the body, unfettered by carbonation. Okay.

BIAB sample from Leicester Beer Festival 2019, courtesy of Grumbo. Cheers Graham! Slightly hazy yellow gold colour, no head and mellow apple aroma. Taste is sweetish ripe apple, fleshy & fruity with some tartness and woody tannin. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, medium-dry finish. Quite drinkable.

Taste is sweetish, apple, sulphury hint, then tart, drying and citric. Light bodied, low carbonation, dry tart finish. Quite OK

14/3/2019. From bag in box at the Leicester Beer Festival 2019. Pours clear bright very pale gold with a green tint and minimal head. Aroma of medium sweet apples and a hint of cheese. Medium sweetness, light bitterness and tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft to flat carbonation. Light and watery finish.
