Pours a dark brown body, mostly clear, and a dense beige head with good retention and lacing. Aroma's: drop, salmiak, umami. Retronasal it's sweetish, drop, umami. Flavour is moderate sweet and light roasty bitter. Light bodied. Finishes moderate roasty bitter.

Pours a clear brown body and a dense beige head with good retention and lacing. Aroma's: caramel, drop/licorice, umami. Retronasal it's slightly sweet, caramel, some red fruit. Flavour is moderate caramellish sweet and light bitter. Light medium bodied. Finishes with caramel, roasted malts, moderate bitter.

Pours a cloudy deep golden body and a dense rocky white head with good retention. Aroma's: sweet&sour fruit, with retronasal light wood, somewhat funky. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter (tannines). Light bodied. Moderate bitter finish, slightly dry.

Pours a cloudy straw coloured body and a dense white head with some retention and good lacing. Aroma's: wheaty, coriander, light sulphur. Retronasal: sweetish, fruity, coriander. Flavour is light moderate sweet, coriander, a hint of bitter. Light bodied. Light bitter finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Aroma is roasted malt, sweet malt, some caramel and sugars, fairly strong liquorice and a touch of chocolate. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate roasty bitter. Body is just above medium. Fairly heavy on the liquorice for my taste, but very decent sweetish Stout.
