500ml bottle from Beergusto. Pours clear dark red-brown, enormous beige head, high carbonation. Aromas of chocolate, nuts, yeast, touch of figs. Taste is red-fruit sweet, with a lingering chocolate bitterness. Sweet finish. Nice.

500ml bottle from Beergusto. Pours golden yellow with a light haze, big white head, high carbonation. Aromas of grassy hops and bready malt. Light body. Taste us quite plain, almost lager-like. Would like a bit more yeast character.

Bottle @ weekly tasting. Clear golden color, medium sized white head that leaves fair lacing. Weird aroma that has some kind of smokyness. Smoked malts used perhaps? Taste some malts, lightly smoke again and fingerpaint I used in school when I was 5 yo. Weird. You wouldn’t expect this in a blonde at all. I can see some people could like this but it’s not my thing.

Bottle @benzai shared by benzai. Clear golden with a medium sized, fair lacing white head. Smells smoked malts. Tastes smoked, malts, a bit weird, (smoked) wheats, hint of banana. Medium body, nice carbo.

Gekocht op het Brugse bierfestival 2014 en thuis geproefd op 4-02-2014. Blond bier. Schuim is rap weg, ruikt wat moutig en geroosterd, smaakt fris fruitig, wat karamel en weinig bitter, romig, het bittere stijgt naarmate men verder drinkt. Clear dark brown beer, small fizzy creamy off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: coffee, burnt toast, dried fruits. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: coffee incest, some rotten fruits, bit sourish. Aftertaste: mocha, coffee, overripe fruits. It's hard to describe what it is exactly, that I don't like in this beer, other than the obvious coffee flavour of which I'm no fan. But I really, really don't like this stuff.

Pours very dark brown , very small white head Smell is roasted malts , bit coffee . Taste is extremely intence coffee , some chocolate . Not even beer saymore .

Shards of lace from a dark tan to cream head; cola-coloured beer. Liquorice, molasses, brown Sugar, and some wood. Very sweet smell. Sligh acidity doing wonders for the liquorice overload, once in the mouth. BIt of cola - indeed; Finish shows some maltsweetness. Very spritzy carbonation, slick, not very well-bodied. Different, and as such, pleasing.

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a mid-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Biscuity and quite greenish and sugary wort-like malt character with hints of grassy hops in the background. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft, if not tame carbonation. Sugary malty taste with notes of biscuits, again quite green malt-character; slightly syrupy and sticky finish with just a whiff of grassy hops far in the background. Not really convincing. 14.I.14

(bottle, 50cl!) Almost clear, golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Worty and bready cara-malty aroma with notes of popcorn and a tinge of grassy hops. Sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a tame carbonation. Slightly sugary and a bit unfermented worty malty base with notes of bread, biscuits and traces of honey; sweetish and a bit sticky sugary finish. Not convincing. 03.XII.13
