A brownish black hue with a fine tan head. The nose is very soft, featuring roasted coffee. The taste is balanced and relatively understated for an Imperial Stout. Roasted Coffee leads with some chocolate sweetness and lactic smoothness. A clean finish with a hint of bitterness. A tasty medium viscosity Imperial that is well crafted but is more understated than anticipated.

20 June 2025. “Iets voor den Erwin” @ Dracuna. Cheers to the whole GBV crew! Thanks to Wim P for sharing!
Lots of toasted onion, cheese, biscuit, mandarin peel, grapefruit juice. Bittersweet citrus peel, mango, onion, grass. Grassy & piney hops, bitter grapefruit, dank onion. Oily texture. Lovely, very old-school, I could drink gallons of it.

Can from Systembolaget. Little glue on the nose. Mature west coast IPA does what it should do.

Drunk watching murderbot before driving off on vacation, after a Pliny the Elder. I have many cans of this so it's not the first one. Amber light haze. Great citrus-caramel-dank goodness nose, flavor is smooth bitterness with a lightly tropical mid palate and nice malt overtones the whole way through. Excellent WC brew!

By approachable I guess they mean kind of watered down. Not bad, some grassy grain and I guess ok for the "post lawnmower serve cold" label bit pretty nondescript overall.
