Brilliant white bubbly head left a froth on a hazy dark lemon coloured body. Mango, Tropical fruits & confectionery aroma. Medium bodied, smooth over the tongue with a sharp back. Sweet citrus, bubbly gum, pineapple, mango & bitter hoppy tastes. Juicy!

Exploded cork immediately after the cage was taken off (luckily it wasn't pointed in the wrong direction) - insane pressure built up!!! Very slightly hazy golden coloured body with a super thick, five to seven centimetre tall off-white head that is relatively soapy, but fades somewhat quickly. Aroma of floral hops with some very bretty and funky yeast notes that show some tart smells, but the oak and dry barrel qualities are quite evident. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive dry and floral hops dominate with a nice and light-ish malt body with some herbs, grass and flowers throughout that shows some fruit notes toward the end as well. Aftertaste has a soft wheat and malt component, but the yeast, brett and funky hop characteristics show through towards the end. Overall, a very nice and incredibly complex barrel-aged and bretty flavoured Belgian that fells every bit Wallonian and not Californian, but luckily for us Americans, it's the opposite! I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Total Wine in Fairfax, Virginia on 10-September-2017 for US$10,99 sampled just over two years later on 20-October-2019 at home in Washington. Given that my cork exploded immediately, kept at ideal conditions, you may want to drink this soon if you have a bottle on hand.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours very hazy/murky gold with a white head. Aroma is very tropical/citrus. Med body or better. Flavor is nearly dank citrus with something like green melon. Touches of zest. Mouthfeel turns creamy in the finish. Hoppy. Bitter. Not much malt, perhaps a little slippery oat. Intense flavors.

Bottle from GBBF 2019 and drunk on a train. Hazy pale gold colour lasting cream head. Pineapple and citrus tropical fruit aroma. Smells good. Lots of pineapple chunks in the mouth. Light bitterness on the finish. Some sherbet hop. Good throughout I thought. Light but fun.
