Description

Bottle at Trappistenhuis, Gent 07-12-07 Pours mid golden in colour and a bit murky with a white head. A very assured beer that’s not overly spicy good yeastiness and drying on the end, quite impressive for it’s simplicity and a jolly decent ale.

330 ml Bottle Pours out a ligth pink topped with a white head. A nice sweet aroma of berries. I would have to guess the blackcurrant berries they are talking about above. Not to bad.

Bottle: Poured a deep ruby red with a light red pinkish head. The aroma is full of blackcurrant berries, very powerful to the nose. The taste is sweet blackcurrant and very yummy leaves a sugary tongue.

Bottle. Hazy, orange-golden beer with an off-white head. Malty nose, with dried fruits as well, quite nice. Sweetness, pale malt, spices and hops in the flavor. Full to medium body, quite dry, finishing with pale malt and spices. A bit drier than I would prefer, but enjoyable. (070928)

Test vom 25.10.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,11,12,11,9,12 - 11,45
