Bottle, 5.7%. Remarkably little aroma. Muddy, milky dark red colour, very small head. The flavour is quite dry with some berry to it. A little cardboard. Not sour and not sweet. Watery aftertaste. Medium to high carbonation. Quite boring.

(Bottle, Hörnan Belgobar, Stockholm) Orangey yellow colour with foamy white head, rather cloudy. Fruity nose with dried fruit, mango, pineapple and spicy hops. Malty, slightly yeasty taste with fruity notes of dried pineapple and mango. Rather fiery mouthfeel. Balanced sweetness. Rather complex, more so than most standard tripels. Really nice beer.

Cloudy orange with a big frothy white head. Fruity aroma with lemon and pineapple, some berries, spice and caramel. Somewhat sour with caramel sweetness, hop flavour and bitterness, and a spicy finish.

Bottle. Dark amber, plentifull carbonation, muddy golden lacing head. Citric and peachy, somewhat salty nose. Minerally and honeyish base flavor, typical belgian fruit notes, minerals/salt a bit wood . Fairly thinbodied. Fresh with a dry finish.

Pours a cloudy amber into a Trappist glass. Offwhite head quickly subsides to create an oily surface fuzz. Date and plum aromas. Oily and tickling with upfront sour pit fruit and a lasting caramel finish.

33 cl bottle. The aroma is blackcurrent. The color is something like a dark rose, with a white head that seems stable. Thin to medium body. A bit spritzy. The flavor is definitely blackcurrant, and there is some sort of fruity bitter. It starts lightly sweet, but it finishes dry. Even a bit astringent. I think the point is to have made a dry, light fruit beer. The fruit of giants?

Pours jet black into a snifter. Tan conglomerate head recedes at a fast pace with very little lacing at the surface. Rum-soaked raisins and date aromas. Upfront fizzy dark caramel turning to a raisin/chocolate chunky-bar middle and a lasting oaked hop finish.

330ml bottle. Pale amber with a strong white head. This was light for a saison, with a floral aroma. Very smooth to drink, with a slightly sweet, herbal flavour. An enjoyable, easy drink.

33 cl bottle that I have had for about 5 years. Heady aroma of lemon, yeast, pear, and light spice. Slightly hazy amber orange color with hardly any head. Starts with light caramel, then yeast and lemon. It has a spicy bite. Relatively dry finish, with an aftertaste that is lightly coffeeish. Really tastey and refreshing.
