Bottle courtesy of Bruno (grazie) at Toccalmatto, shared with SHIG. Clear copper color, large fluffy off white head. Aroma of dust, grapes, must, oak. Taste resembles a full bodied rose wine, smooth, but slightly sour. Very nice.

Bottle @ Domus Birrae, Rome. Pours black with a creamy bubbly beige head. Nose is roast, fruit and berries. Smooth palate. Notes of chocolate, vanilla and vague coffee. Dry bitter and dusty end.

Bottle @ Domus Birrae, Rome. Pours unclear orange with a small creamy lasting head. Nose is tart and earthy. Some cellar notes. Dry, crisp and oaky flavor with a good tart bite. Refreshing!

Bottle @ Domus Birrae. Pours a clear red color with a small creamy white head on top. Nose is tart and fruity. Cherries, raspberries and a bit of earth and almond. Quite refreshing. Lots of raspberries. Pleasant tart bite. Dry end. Really quaffable and easy drinking

Bottle 37,5 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Pours an opaque black with a beige head. Sweet hard roasted malt and vanilla in the nose. Medium body, good roasted maltiness - but never burned - sweet licorice. Not much bitterness or alcohol in the finish. A well composed Imperial Stout Lite. 030610

Bottle 375ml.Clear dark black color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, vanilla, alcohol notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration, roasted, sharp. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20100603]

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, barnyard, leather, wood, berry notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate acidic with a average to long duration.
