Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, grape, acidic, barnyard notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light to moderate acidic and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Bottle 37,5 cl. RBESG Rome 2010. Pours a cloudy and opaque almost muddy brown with a creamy off-white head leaving a dense lacework. Dry, lightly tart nose with some wood. Light body, again tart with a whiff of barnyard and again wood. Dry and lightly tart finish. Very interesting. 020610

Deep amber color, small off-white head. Barnyardish, caramelly aroma. Heavy grape-red wine flavor. Some sour notes. Fruity and interesting beer.

375ml Bottle (Helsinki Beer Festival 2010) - Shared with Doggythedog and Tbone. Copper coloured. Fruity and rich aroma aroma with hints of spice and dried fruit. The taste is slightly sharp with notes of dried fruit, malt and caramel.

Bottle at HBF2010, shared with SaintMatty and TBone. Poured a red body tinged with gold with a small white head. Dusty, slightly sweet vinuous-juicy nose. Light sweetish acidity in the taste, tongue drying but ok. Fruity, a bit yoghurty, somewhat malty. A bit subtle I guess. Nothing too special but ok.

37.5 cL bottle. Pours cloudy dark amber with a small white head. Aroma is mliky and fruity. Distinct lacto. Malty,caramel and yogurt and milky flavoured. Roasted malty and milky into the finish. Light fruity note.

(Bottle, 0.375 l, at HBF2010) Poured as red and cloudy with some brown hints. Small white head. Aroma contained wine, berries and sourness. Palate was medium bodied and dryish with medium carbonation. Flavours were wine, berries, fruitiness, sourness and malts. Aftertaste was mildly sour. An interesting brew.
