Poured from 473mL can (pkg 02-13-2026). Cloudy dull purple-ish red with minimal off white head. Maple syrup upfront with blueberries, feint lactose. It does have a sort of pancake batter note. I suppose it does fulfill what it sets out to achieve as a novelty pastry sour so I can't really fault it. I'm just not a blueberry pancake breakfast sort of person. Average.

473mL can, pours a deep dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is very light, with very faint coconut and toasted malt. Flavour is super light—barely in brown ale territory—with subtle coconut and little else. It’s pretty embarrassing calling this a stout—more like a faintly coconut-spiked brown ale at best. Inoffensive but super lame.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 02/13/2026). Dark brown with minimal off white head. Brown ale with soft coconut note. Okay, but forgettable.

473mL can. Pours murky brown with a white head. Bready malts and a whiff of coconut milk. Flavour has very light malts, wisps of coconut, a bit dusty. Thin and simple; I don't understand how this is a stout.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy yellow with yeast particles in suspension and a small, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, orange, mango, earthy yeast and herbal hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, grapefruit, lemon rind, pineapple, green grape, mango, earthy yeast and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and enjoyable.

Opaque. Dullish. The usual Superflux combo of citra and hop burn. Weak malt base, random burny stuff, and maybe some hop or whatever.

The YEG-YVR collab I want is Tristan bringing one of his unorthodox barrels like Uruguayan port or some shit up to Blind Enthusiasm. Let me know when that happens.

Looks like licor de tannat is the name. Make that shit happen. https://www.familiadeicas.com/en/portfolio-items/licor-de-tannat/

473ml can. Pours a cloudy blonde with yeast sediment and a small, creamy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready pale malt, tangerine, orange, peach, earthy yeast and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready pale malt, lime, grapefruit, mango, peach, earthy yeast and pine resin in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a slightly creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and delicious.

On tap at Superflux. Pours black with a beige nitro head. Light toasted malts and some brine on the nose. Flavour is briny with a dry toasted malt base. Fairly shallow and thin. I think this missed the mark.

On tap at Superflux. Pours an opaque yellow with a small white head. Loads of coconut, tropical fruit, and a touch of allium on the nose. Flavour has a ton of raw coconut, bitter onions, tropical fruit, citrus peels. Nice bitterness on the finish. Leaning heavily into the coconut and coming out pretty decent.

On tap at Superflux. Pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Dry grass and thin malts on the nose. Flavour has a decent grassy hopping, a touch of fermented rice. Definitely on the thin side. It's okay, but pretty waif-like.
