On tap at Superflux, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is full of allium, but tinged in the piney hop direction, along with citrus, and some dankness. Flavour is bright, with citrusy, piney hops, plenty of allium but it comes across well here, some bitter citrus peel, and biscuity malt. Nice hop expression, clean body, bright. Very good.

On tap at Superflux, pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full of bright, clean lime, with gentle straw, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is clean and fresh, with bright lime and crisp biscuity malt. I’m thirsty, so this is working for me, but… it’s a lime lager. As good as this can be.

On tap at Superflux, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma has soft toasted rice, straw, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour is dry, with straw, dry toasted rice, and crisp crackery malt. Clean and bright, but… it’s a rice lager. Decent.

On tap at Superflux, pours an opaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full on hopburn, with mega chalk overload, some hint of NZ hop tang poking through if I squint. Flavour does manage to express that NZ hop tang, but then the chalk and hopburn overtake, putting this squarely in the “typical, incompetent hazy” category. Not good.

Glass during meeting with Lana.
Aroma: grainy, fruity, vanilla ice cream.
Taste: along the same lines, not really happy with the mouthfeel, not a real smoothie one.
Overall: ok.

Bright gold, medium head. Decent berry hops, malts on the thick side, sticky, but there is some bitterness in the finish.

Medium brown, medium head, smells like thin weak coffee, on the palate there is a bit of coconut, mild coffee, base is weak. Every successive stout from Superflux is worse than the previous one.
