About
Started as a client brewer in 2015. Opened its own brewery in 2020. Superflux has set up operations in the heart of ‘Yeast Van,’ joining a number of other breweries that have beer lovers flocking to the area. An experiment in IPA-focused Beer Production currently and semi-permanently located at 505 Clark, Dr. Vancouver.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 06 Aug 2026). Clear yellow gold with small white head. Clean biscuit malt, melon hops, grassy fresh-hop-like character, decent, not a west coast.

Appearance: Hazy yellow, golden pour with a small, foamy white head that doesn’t last long but leaves some nice lacing.
Aroma: Big ripe cannabis buds and wet dank hops. Lemony, citrus aroma that comes from the Citra and Citra Cryo base.
Flavour: Juicy citrus fruit riding a light bready malt base. The NZ hops deliver peach fuzz, watermelon, and pithy citrus, then shift toward earthy bitterness, moderate resin, and light pine. Finish is relatively dry with a mild bitterness that can linger, accompanied by a resinous dank edge.
Mouthfeel: Soft, pillowy, creamy, smooth, medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

473ml can. Pours an unclear dark brown with red hue and a medium, foamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves curtains of soapy lace. Mild aroma of toasted malt, cocoa and coconut. Sweet flavour of toasted malt, coconut, dark chocolate and light coffee in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily to watery texture and soft carbonation. A bit thin for the style. Could use more body, but still drinkable.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with yeast particles that settle on the bottom and a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready pale malt, tangerine, mango, peach, earthy yeast and herbal hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready pale malt, orange, pineapple, mango, passionfruit, peach, earthy yeast and pine resin in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and enjoyable.
