14/II/24 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ my parents’ place, BB: 6/II/24, lot A22221839 (2024-102)
Clear pale gold blond beer, big creamy white irregular head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: little fruity, some ripe banana, malty, yeasty touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of banana, gentle bitterness, a bit malty, pretty hoppy, some citrus. Aftertaste: more banana, malty, a little bitter, slightly fruity, meh. Underwhelming but not as bad as I had feared.

Almost clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mild fruity malt, apricot and yeast. Taste of resinous bitter hops, citrus, apricot, strong grainy malt. Long bitter finish.

Fra SPAR Puerto Mogan, Gran Canaria. Drukket på terrassen til rom 314 på Cordial Magec, Taurito. Stråfarget. Klar. Høyt kritthvitt kremaktig skum som daler veldig sakte. Litt lacing. Krydderaroma. Smaken søt. Krydder & malt. Uvariert. Tørr, lett alkoholisk avslutning.

I believe this 33 cl bottle came from De Bierkoning on our tour through the Netherlands and Belgium late last summer. This evening I have my globe glass in place, most used one in the small collection. The pour shows a clear, shiny gold body with a significant head of off-white foam and plenty of carbonation. The beer is strongly fragrant, I get a lot of yellow fruit, yeast, grain and a bare touch of citrus. A drink now and I have to say that this is an enjoyable brew. Dried peaches, white bread, apricots, malt, some hops bitterness and meadow. Nice.
