Drank it many times because of wide availability even in Germany. Seems like it has been dumbed down even more since last tried. Pours to a clear dark ruby red with a 1cm head with medium persistence. Typical Belgian (Dutch?, Polish?) mose: coriander, Candi sugar, light orange Marmelade, Marzipan. Slight vanilla and caramel. Sweet on first taste with the spice and orange breaking through. Solid mid body. Nice persistent and pleasant receding final notes: coriander and caramel sugar. Well balanced and nicely rounded. Slightly thin at the end. Still good I have to admit.

Dissipating Beigel head left a spotty cover on a dark reddish brown body. Malt, spices & yeasty aroma. Medium full bodied, smooth thinning out to a lightly carbonated clean back. Caramel, toffee, spices, malt - raisin tastes with a fruity finish. Easy going.

Bottle, 330 ml at Le Bistro Porte de Hal. Cloudy golden, large white head. Malty, grainy, some floral notes, sweet and quite simple. Tad spicy.

Bottle froma friend, many thanks. Dark amber color with small off-white ehad. Aroma of caramel, nuts, dark chocolate, spicy phenol, fruity esters. Taste is complex with caramel, . fruity esters, spicy phenols, Belgian yeast, honey, dark chocolate, malt, light honey. Good.
