500 c&c from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours quite ruddy with a transient head. Beautiful color against a strong light. Aroma is tart/sour with raisin and wood notes. Med body or so. It's more sweet/tart than sour. Literally mouth watering. Cranberry is discernible, and there's a little dark fruit. Some wood that's not musty. Very lightly astringent. Hardly acidic. But a little. Very nice indeed.

Bomber from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours light gold with a creamy bubbly white head. Aroma is sort of citrus, but made me think Nobel hop. Hint of breadiness. Med body almost. Flavor is citrus of a sort and made me think of key lime leaf and also of Saphir hop. It is bready, but the hop flavors kept it down sufficiently. Not bad after a day of hot, dirty yard work.

500 c&c from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours dark brown with a huge creamy tan head. Aroma of apple, dark fruit and dark malt/treacle. Med body or so. Flavor is darkish fruits, apple, dark malt, some wood astringency, and mildly tart. Quite mildly. With time passing I think port is detectable. That might have been the dark fruit. Interesting stuff. Apple keeps coming and going. I'd like to think I'm getting Brett notes, but not at all certain.

Bomber from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of coffee, dark malt, darkish fruit and maybe some chocolate. Med + body at least. Flavor is coffee, chocolate, darkish fruit and some rather dark, treacly malt. Not at all dry. Not very bitter either. Pleasant drink.
