Bomber from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of coffee, dark malt, darkish fruit and maybe some chocolate. Med + body at least. Flavor is coffee, chocolate, darkish fruit and some rather dark, treacly malt. Not at all dry. Not very bitter either. Pleasant drink.

Bottle @ Pre-Borefts tasting. Red-brown color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, bitter, malt bitter. Hmm to me it's rather thin in texture, heavy in alcohol and firm in carbonation, so I don't like it that much. 6-6-5-4-5=5.3 initially. -- Rerate 2021: definitely better. About a 7 now.

Bomber from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours light gold with a white head. Aroma of citrus and honey. Med minus body. Flavor is citrus and enough honey to coat my lips. I'd have entered it as a blonde rather than a fruit beer. Flavors aren't particularly strong - fruit wise. Ok, but not exciting.
