Bottle 25 cl. Pours a clear, nutty brown with a lacing, beige head. Sweet hazelnut aroma. Medium body, nutty, nougaty with a rather simple finishing bitterness. An odd brew. 200724

sweet malty aroma, quite fitting the guldbryg name, Aroma is very much like many of the traditional strong european lagers. flavor is sweet nutty malty, very much strong european lager style with the traditional tasteless bitter hops and the extra sweetness from the malts. A bit of a metallic taste, but overall you get what's advertised which is really quite fine as I see it.

Bottle 50 cl. Brewed and bottled in Austria. Pours a clear, pale orangey brown with a smallish, off-white head. Very litle aroma, some vague nuts - a little buttery? Thinnish body, subtle roast, dry, vague nut accents and a bitter finish. Not much of a Brown Ale. Made with nut extracts and aroma. 100320
