Craft Beer Junction bottleshare. Thanks to Wingman. Clear amber beer, small cream colour head. Smooth and fairly dry palate. Good fine carbonation. Smooth dry caramel malts a good creamy sweetness. Spicy ripe fruits. Light semi dry finish. Spicy fruity finish

Draught at Max's: pours gold with white head. Aroma citrusy zest, tea-like notes, biscuit. Taste is dry, lightly bitter. Zesty.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, big guava. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a crisp, juicy guava, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A bit one dimensional and probably just the classic pale with infused guava purée, but quite refreshing and drinkable all the same.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is malt and citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, light, herbal, lime citrus, dry spicy, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a fresh, smooth, grainy, juicy, tart grapefruit, passionfruit, guava, light woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured an unclear golden colour with a huge frothy white head and froth everywhere in fact, as it took 10 minutes to pour. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a smooth, light, grapefruit, mango, light floral woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Ok, but something wasn’t right behind the bar which negatively affected the beer.

11.2oz can from Total Wines and More, Laguna Hills. Poured into a Temecula Football Club pint sleeve glass on 15th July 2023. Slight mist through the light golden body, a thin wisp, if anything for a head. There is a pepper like aroma and it certainly tastes like peppercorn is in the brew, does it add to the original Lager? No idea as never had it. Not unpleasant, but I suppose the mini citrus notes alongside the peppercorns does make it different, pity about the head though.

11.2oz can from Total Wine & More, Laguna Hills. Drank at my daughters on 15th July 2023. Poured into a Temecula Football Club pint sleeve, it had a clear golden body and a full on white foaming head. Orange like aroma and taste, semi-bitter though, the oranges, or parts of oranges are not sweet. Liked it.

Can from Circle K - last one, sadly! - at home. Nearly transparent copper orange pour with fine white head. Aroma is boozy dank overripe mango and pine. Like a more tropical more boozy old 1842. A bit musty. Taste is brighter though. Feels like a more tropical dialed up 1842. In a good way. Strong malty sweet breadiness. Great for price and (previous) availability. And definitely solid at any price.
