Description
In 2012, The Harbour Brewing Co. was just a fledgling idea: to brew proper beer reflecting the land (and shores) from where it came. Taking the best raw ingredients - awesome hops, Cornish spring water tapped straight from the source - and bringing them to life through dedication to technique. The concept evolved by the ocean - hence, 'Harbour' - but the beer came into being on the farm. There is joy in returning to the roots of the ingredients. And the heritage of the space, of the land, of the ocean, remain our inspiration. Everything clicks; the farm is Harbour's home.

Draught@SBWF2013. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is citrus, some biscuity and toffeeish malts. Flavour is fruity, nice bready and sweetish malty with also a big grassy, floral and herbal bitter kick in the finish. Good sipper.

[April 2022] Hazy gold with a frothy white head and a soft fruity nose. Light bodied, moderate carbonation yields a sherbet-like, refreshing mouthfeel with tropical fruit and citrusy bitterness nicely combined

500ml bottle as part of a delivery from ASDA. Light gold and clear with a very quickly dissipating white head. Nose dominated by a somewhat artificial floral aroma, with some citrus and tropical fruit. Terribly sweet, more floral character with mango nectar and maybe a bit of guava. Strange saccharine aftertaste. Very light body, medium carbonation. It’s okay.

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 23. Brought by me. Pours unclear deep golden orange, white head. Expected the wild coolship elements to have blossomed but unfortunately it seems to have developed a strong aged caramelly side, rather than building on its wild side, coming across like an aged belgian blonde. Best before is 2029, but I think it past that at least a year ago.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the Lidl on Well Street. Pours clear, pale yellow with a small, foamy white head. Lightly sweet, not a lot to it, some pithy lemon, dried pale malts, hay, nips of grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Reasonably clean to finish, more dried pale malts, subtle pale biscuits, hay, rind. OK.

Hazy pale yellow colour with thin soapy head. Aroma and flavour have subtle tropical fruit. Pineapple. Some boiled peas kind of ruins this beer.
