Small format beers best format beers! Lots of licorice on the nose but disappears quickly, flavor packed with dark chocolate and caramel, gnarly good, my first rustic leaf too I think. Thanks FlandersNed !

Hazy pale yellow-orange body, thin clumping cream head. Aroma citrus (pink grapefruit and tangerine). Body tart, creamy, and juicy, with pineapple, citrus, and a modest earthy-piny bitterness. Balanced; on the dry side.

Copper body, medium to thick cream head. Aroma toasty with notes of brown sugar. Body cerealy and fruity with toasted sugars. Well-balanced.

Deep sanguine red-brown body, thick cream head leaving curtains of lacing. Aroma and body characterized by toasted cereal (Cheerios), spice, pine, and brown sugar. Nicely hopped, well-balanced, and rich. A standout.

16 ounce crowler into tulip glass, filled on 11/15/2019. Pours slightly hazy golden/orange/pinkish color with a small fairly dense off white head with solid retention, that reduces to a minimal spotty lace cap that lingers. Minimal lacing on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge sour/tart/tangy red raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, white bread, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of raspberries, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge sour/tart/tangy red raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, white bread, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and tannin spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy red raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, white bread, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/sourness and tangy fruit balance; with minimal puckering sourness after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering sour/tart/tangy. Medium carbonation and light body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is an awesome fruited Berliner weisse! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the moderately acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Not overly lactic. Awesome balance of super juicy/jammy raspberries and Lacto complexity; with a nice pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive style example as expected. Head brewer said this is the lowest pH beer he has made so far, yet it's not overpowering on the lacto at all!

Aromas of big lemon, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, dill, coriander, cilantro, peppercorn, pine, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, dark bread/crust, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and roast/bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, dill, coriander, cilantro, peppercorn, pine, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, dark bread/crust, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery, roast, charred bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, dill, coriander, cilantro, peppercorn, pine, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, dark bread/crust, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and roast/bready malt flavors; with an awesome roast/hop bitter/sweet balance; and no acrid/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering hop/char bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, sticky/resinous/rindy, and lightly chalky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an awesome black IPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and roast/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; not aggressive. Awesome Sorachi Ace profile. Very vibrant and fairly juicy/dank/earthy hops; with a great balanced roasted malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example. The hop profile is unique as expected, but works really well here!

Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Mild increasing warmth of 9% after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic DIPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the ABV, with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Nicely soft and not aggressive. Fantastic Idaho 7 profile. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice sized dark/bready malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example. Loved the hop profile as expected.

Pours fairly crystal clear deep ruby red/brown color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of caramel, brown sugar, toffee, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and brown bread/crust; with lighter notes of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, dark fruit, citrus peel/zest, wood, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, pine, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. A bit too fruity/yeasty aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready/roasted malts, and light-moderate citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of big caramel, brown sugar, toffee, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and brown bread/crust; with lighter notes of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, dark fruit, citrus peel/zest, wood, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, pine, and yeast/roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery, roasted bitterness on the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an excellent American brown ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready/roasted malts, and light-moderate citrus/earthy hops, fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish; not overly aggressive. Feels like all Columbus hops. Awesome balance of rich malts, and citrus/earthy hops; with restrained fruity yeast. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example. A little more bitter/hoppy than expected overall.

Delicious. Tart/tangy blueberry;red/green/crisp apples;fruit peel/herbal;lt pepper/yeast earth. Semidry/semicrisp carb. Lingering acid/tang/tannic dryness. Not harshness. Pretty refreshing. Nice fruit complexity/balance. Wish there was a bit more berry.

Aromas of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with light notes of wood, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of roast/bready malts, and light earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, and dark bread/crust; with light notes of wood, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery, roasted bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, roasted nuts, toasted biscuit, dark bread/crust, wood, pepper, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of roast/bready malts, and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice hop/roast bitter/sweet balance; and no cloying, acrid, astringent flavors after the finish. very clean on lager flavors, with minimal fruity/yeasty notes. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/roasted bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, and lightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 5.8%. Overall this is an excellent schwarzbier. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of roast/bready malts, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and pretty refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish; awesome soft feel. Awesome clean/rich Roast/Vienna/Munich malts; with solid noble hop presence/balance. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example as expected.
