Description
In 2015, Hubbard’s Cave was developed as an alternative to our Belgian Style Ales. Producing American Style ales, primarily imperial stouts and Hubbard’s Cave signature Fresh IIPAs, Hubbard’s Cave is a refreshing addition to the Une Anneé Family. Named after the Chicago Hubbard Street traffic tunnel on Interstate 90/94, next to where the brewery was born, Hubbard’s Cave has quickly grown to produce some of our most popular offerings.

deep dark brown colour, minimal beige lacing; aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, cocoa powder, chilli pepper, raisins and sour cherry soaked into alcohol; taste has the same notes with definite hazelnuts; great one!

473ml can. Cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally bready, slightly sweet-ish, wheaty malty, slightly spicy and citrusy fruity aroma, notes of coriander, lemon, orange, mandarine, whiffs of wasabi. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty malty, citrusy fruity and slightly spicy, notes of orange, mandarine, some lemon, a touch of lime, peppery hints of coriander with wasabi allusions. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, prickly to lively carbonation. Typical (and harmonious) composition, albeit the adjuncts are pushing the envelope concerning intensity; sadly a bit overcarbonated - good.
