In November 1788, the intersection of a dream and a pioneering spirit ignited Benjamin Stites and 26 others to found the settlement of “Columbia” along the banks of the Ohio near the Little Miami River. Now known as Columbia-Tusculum, Streetside Brewery is proud to be rooted in Cincinnati’s oldest neighborhood.

With the same industrious energy, the Hickey family, Streetside Brewery founders and residents of Columbia-Tusculum, strives to provide a down-to-earth experience with a selection of exceptional craft beer that’s as diverse, and original, as the community they serve.

Streetside Brewery was honored to be named “Best New Brewer in Ohio 2017” by the RateBeer Best Awards. Other awards include a SILVER in the English Style Pale & Bitter category by RateBeer Best 2017 for Return of the Mac (coffee blonde) and Best Sour and Best of Show at the 2016 King of Ohio Competition for Raspberry Beret (berliner weisse with raspberries).

16oz can from my 2021 Secret Santa (alexsdad06). Drank in Laguna Hills on 23rd December 2022 after leaving it here in February. I think the canning date was 16th March 2021, so it's not fresh anymore. Deep, dark brown body, weak tanned head. Aroma and taste is all about Maple Syrup. It's sweet, boozy and interesting, below the heavy sweetness there is a malty bourbon and raison trace or two. Liked it!

On tap at Streetcar, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma is full of sweet chocolate, vanilla, and some dark fruits. Flavour is extremely sweet, but has more roasted malt, followed by cocoa and vanilla. Extremely sweet but there's some depth. It's still a diabetes bomb.

On tap at Streetcar, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dry toasted pecans and medium roast. Flavour is full of ethanol, with lots of booze and dark sugars, with some toasted pecans and salt. Very boozy and hot. But it's fun.

On tap at Streetcar, pours black with almost no head. Aroma is full of caramel, candied apple, brandy, and dark sugars. Flavour is very boozy and sweet, with intense caramel, apple brandy, and a touch of coconut. Huge caramel notes lingering, with intense sweetness. It's okay.

On tap at Streetcar, pours black with a tiny beige head. Aroma brings out plenty of coffee, with a touch of coconut and some burnt sugars. Flavour is rich, with intense coffee, lots of coconut, and dark sugars galore. Boozy, sweet and a bit messy, like the others. Okay.

On tap at Streetcar, pours black with a tiny white head. Aroma is full of sweet coconut, vanilla, and oak. Flavour is intensely sweet, with intense sugars, oak, coconut and vanilla. Pretty massive. What a sugar bomb. But it's tasty for sure.
