Pounder can for 2.5$ USD. Pour is nearly clear pale, nice white fading head goes to pond silk. Taste is quite friendly, just enough pilsner bitter bite to let you know its a pils, but it never gets in yer face. So many domestic pils really overdo the sharp pils bitter bite character. This one is rather civilized and easy to take. Not finding much bad about this sample. I was thinking it would be more aggressive but I'm pleased to report its a very tame little angel pils, LoL. Overall tasting session was obedient, tractable, receptive and reasonable for a pilsner. There, you have it.

Pounder can for 2$. Pour is very dark brown but not black. Nice foamy rootbeer looking head. Very fresh nose of good lager, no roasty olfactory. Friendly dark beer roasted flavor, a little less than a Schwartz, but more than a typical dark lager. Quite enjoyable, civility is rambunctious around the edges compared to many black lagers or shwartz, but a diamond in the rough. Basic bekky personality and certainly not a cookie cutter. Probably a good dark beer for a pale lager lover looking to try something darker. Reminds me a bit of Iron City Dark from the 1980s, and that's a good thing! Glad I didn't pass this one up. For 2 bucks, its a bargain!

Wow I'm pretty sure I've rated this IPA before, years ago. Oh well, here we go again, another needless replay of an old IPA torture episode. Hazy pale with a pond scum head from a 3$ pounder can at chalet. Off weird IPA floral hops smell. First taste is what else? A dead on style nasty-rific IPA, what else can be said? Think about savoring the flavor of any one or combo of these ; liquid pine trees, diesel flavored urinal cakes, old gasoline mixed with rotting fermenting grapefruit rinds, chemically over abrasive rude ass lighter fluid coated inner tubes, and on the finish; overall, mouthcoating international palate pain courtesy of cleveland. Whew. You like IPA? You gottah put this on yer bucket list. Blah! One good thing; I got 16 ounces of 7% brew that will numb my skull enough to think it was worth drinken for a tick. LoL

Pour is a black with a big mocha tan head. Aroma is roasted coffee beans and nuts. Flavor is the same. A nice roasted coffee and nuts with a creamy silkiness on the mouthfeel. Not a coffee bomb but rather a pleasant roasted coffee throughout.
