Keg at Koelship Yard. Black. Thin and bubbly brown head. Big aroma of pistachio, biscuit and chocolate. Flavour has coconut but not heaps of it which suits me fine, pistachio again, loads of malt, creamy notes, biscuit, sweet chocolate on a rich body and a nice boozy warmth. Very nice indeed.

Bottle shared at the CBJ tasting, thanks to the Wingmane, 12/06/24. Black topped with a khaki head that thins over time. Nose is chocolate, nutty, dark malts, caramel. Taste comprises roast malts, caramel, hazelnut, chocolate melt, molasses. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boost offered. Okay sipper but a little on the sweet side ... needs more balance.

Creamy, fruity, pretty sweet, a tiny bit tart. Candy strawberry with a bit of real ones mixed in, cheesecake, vanilla, really smooth. A tasty milkshake.
