Pours a near black from a can. An unfortunate slimy ring, I can only hope settled adjunct solids that had congealed, floated to the top. Chocolate and light mint aroma and flavor (before I noticed that ring), but nothing stellar. Meh.

Pours a hazy straw from a can, overly effervescent with a super-pillowy head. Aroma is apples and maybe some feet? Flavor is some apple cider but not much. I'd rather just have some apple cider I think. Not too sour. Good beer, nothing wrong with it.

Poured from 473mL can (seems to be pkg Sept 30, 2022 if I'm reading the stamp correctly; thanks Chris McD). Hazy gold with small white head. Slightly muted citrus and stone fruit. It's okay, but needs more punch in the flavour department.

A golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with grassy resinous hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, oxidation. On tap at Giant Heirloom Taproom.

Can with #1118 on bottom, no date, drunk 7/2/22. Clear ebony, tan head is fleeting. Soft and beany, a bit of sharpness from somewhere. Oily, peanut, espresso... Soft and malty, heavy bitterness is odd but does balance the sweet malt. Licorice, caramel, espresso, intense dark chocolate. Don't love that intense bitterness but otherwise well-done.

Can shared by AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's an opaque dark, dark brown (virtually black) with nice viscosity. Aroma is nice mix of coffee, chocolate, lactose and vanilla. Taste well balanced coffee, lactose, vanilla and hints of chocolate and caramel. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, soft carbonation, mild alcohol heat and lightly bitter finish. Overall, good complexity and balance though not hugely strong.
