Gift from a customer. Mango, pineapple. Pretty sweet, but that’s expected for a QIPA.

16 ounce can. Labeled as Drachenstadt Festbier at 4.8% ABV. Amber orange pour. Large pillowy beige head. Sweet toasted malt aroma hints at toffee. Zesty toasted malt flavor has notes of graham crackers and toasted bread. Some nuttiness as well. Light to medium bodied. Sticky mouthfeel. Bready malt finish.

16oz can at the game. Soft, creamy, easy drinking NE. Rather boring, not much hop character. Drinkable, but not that exciting.

Soapy with a touch of lupulin tang. Pretty enjoyable IPL type creature more than Pils, probably not worth the price of admission. Tangy pleasant hop tone. Good, not great.

16oz can at Levante Stables. Can call confirms you get about a 14oz pint at the bar. Thick and heavy. Heavy, seems sort of like a fudgy imperial milk stout. Really heavy, seems like it has a sugary caramel extract type feel to get the 11%. Not that impressive of an offering. Raisiny caramel tone more than roast or hop balance. New school shabby imperial sugar stout. I get a cacao nib tone.

I really like the balance in this style. The rice seems to accentuate the dryness. Has some malt depth, but also a nice bitter hop balance, deep and chewy, something that lacks in a hazy. Good beer.

16 oz. can. The aroma is candied tangerine, orange and a hint of grass. Flavor shows orange, candy tangerine and perhaps pineapple. The softest dank note underneath the fruit. I never would guess this was 10% ABV. Good amount of juice. Drinks really nicely! Top tier in my opinion.

Draught at Wingcraft, 8/18/21.
Mildly hazy, light-blonde with a wispy, white head showing moderately-low retention.
Nose is a pleasant mix of meyer lemon and light orange with hints of juiciness augmenting or augmented by the light, honey-like maltiness. Hint of sweat, bread dough and maybe just a touch of hop astringency with no alcohol or flaw noted.
Light and well-attenuated with just enough malt texture to easily balance the minimally bitter, lightly juicy lemon-orange character. Simple but clean, though with a sweaty, almost mineral-like character either emanating from hop, yeast or both. A bit lower on the flavor intensity, somewhat fleeting on the finish, but it's only 5.3% so not going to be too critical of that.
