All the ingredients I appreciate in an imperial stout and from a Texas brewery. My pint can was found at Mr. T's the local beer shop. The Cowtown snifter is down from the shelf to catch the pour on this one. I'll tell you, that is a black body I'm seeing. The head is mahogany, very slender. I take a sniff from the glass, cocoa, vanilla and caramel, nice I think. The drink, well, it is all right, a bit sweeter than I prefer but still. Dark chocolate, pecans, vanilla significantly, toffee, malt and burnt grain. Really dense, a good sensation in my estimation. Slightly boozy, I expected more based on the ABV. A pretty fine impy stout, could have been better without the extreme sweetness.

Trocken herber Beginn ohne echtes Hopfenaroma. Herb-würziger Mittelteil, ziemlich trocken bleibend, getreidig bitteres Finish. OK. 10/7/8/7/9/7

Can at home shared with Kaura. Unclear yellow color, white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, hops, quite resinous and a solid bitterness. Decent to medium body, average carbonation. Quite alright.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Cloudy orange colour, some floaters, small head. Aroma of artificially sweetened childrens fruit yoghurt. Extremely sweet with medium body and clean rounded mouthfeel. Apricot jam and artificial sweetenerm some custard. Why do they try to push beverages flavoured as childrens yoghurt to adults?

A 16 oz black can with a mostly green label, good effect, that I got at the across-town beer store. Staying inside the Metroplex, I have my Cowtown tulip glass prepared to get the pour. I see an interesting amber-gold body topped by an almost white cover of foam. The smell is quite all right, old school IPA I am inclined to believe, with hops, nectarines, citrus and pine. The drink confirms the scent. I get Mosaic hops which I like a lot, grapefruit, cedar, malt and a bit of yellow fruit. No indication on the label what the IBUs are, but the bitterness is moderate if not strong. Nice. Tasting a good DIPA pleases me.

Can. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are rich bitter hops, fruits, flowers, citrus and has a nice bitter finish.
