Bottle 16.9fl.oz. @ Scooper Tasting. [ As Kent Falls Dekkera ].Clear medium to light yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, herbal, herbs, grass, moderate to light yeasty, saison yeast - fruity yeast, a bretty note. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, herbs, grass, wheat, herbal, minerals, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. IMO: Nice and easy but it also is missing a bit off it all ... [20180915] 7-3-7-3-15

Picked up at Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham and consumed at Camping, Logeerhuis, the Farm IJsselhoeve, nr Zwolle, Netherlands Monday 24th September 2018. Pours lemony colour with a white head. This is a touch funky on the nose but with a slight citrus hit. This is a simple, fruity farmhouse beer, the hops are there but not so apparent. 750mL bottled Nov 2017, batch 1, drunk at Row 34 on 9/21/18.
Clear straw with deep gold highlights. White head immediately fades to a ring.
Oh shit, that's lambic-y! Very Oud Beersel-like. Light green apple (not nearly as much as Boon) and lots of blue cheese with a very strong cellar must character. A touch of oak and some honey-like pils malt rounds things out very nicely. Wow. Beautiful. No distinct peach or white wine but it's wrapped in wonderfully and adds deep complexities. No alcohol or flaw.
Juicy wine is much more notable in the mouth, adding pear, kumquat, mineral and gentle acidity. Wood tannin plays against lightly tart peach with big Brett notes, light lactic and very light acetic acid. Soft, biscuity, wheat-heavy texture and very supple for its low gravity and high attenuation. Yep, this is divine. Near masterpiece and it's so encouraging that Kent Falls continues to improve year-after-year.

Bottle drunk Spring 2018.
Lightly-to-minimally hazy, glassy-like, drab brass-golden. White head atop fizzles fairly rapidly away.
In the nose it's lightly vegetal with no real distinct cactus character and just a hint of light juiciness. Lots of lactic acid, though it's fairly-well integrated. Light, mousey funk with mineral and a touch of metal. Malts show a hint of honey-caramel but mostly cracker and biscuit. No alcohol noted.
In the mouth it suffers pretty strongly from Kent Falls poor bottling (which they've since corrected, it seems). Carbonation is loose and lackluster and the beer, while not tasting distinctly oxidized, still tastes tired and flabby. Metallic and vegetal with lots of lactic acid, cracker, biscuit and lingering salt.

Picked up from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham and consumed at Camping Loggerhuis The Farm, Ijsselhoeve, nr Zalk and Hattem, Zwolle, Netherlands Monday 24th September 2018. Dirty pink/orange colour with a pink tinted white head that swiftly departs. Fruit with a big tart edge throughout. The cherry clearly noticeable but a nice sour cherryness. Good beer. Draft at Dominion Wine & Beer's new upstairs restaurant. Poured a virtually clear, yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was crisp malts, light lemon notes. Creamier than I expected. Little lemon on the finish. Pretty nice.
