Bottle shared in Hackney - sourced via Beergium. Pours totally clear, very pale yellow, with a small, creamy white head. Dry wheat in the nose, some wheat flakes, some dough, lemon peel. Light sweet flavour with pleasant lemon meringue, mild bitter hay, crispy wheat bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Moderately sweet finish, a little drying, with more flaked wheat, straw. Good stuff. Very drinkable.

Draught at Picco, 9/19/17.
Heavily hazy, bordering soupy. Lemon spongecake and lemon merengue hued with a small, white head showing moderate retention.
Lemon, cracker, black pepper and unripe yellow fruits lie heavily in the nose. Very sparse on the malting and no honey or anything like that breaks through to disrupt the strong lemon-lime-nectarine.
First few sips are bracingly bitter. The body is light and the beer very well attenuated, yet a dextrinous or perhaps wheat-heavy texture provides plentiful oomph to sink your teeth (and bitterness) in to. Remains heavily dry on the end and even after warming. Gains a bit too much astringency and comes off lightly soapy, even. Just needs more malt sweetness to balance.
