Iron Maiden has a long association with Australia, right back to their days as a Skyhooks cover band. Can. Gold with a cm of white head. Aroma of hay, mandarin, some tropical fruit. Dryish with some grapefruit as well. Moderately bitter finish is snappy enough given the light body. OK quaffer - a bit of a golden ale from a decade ago feel to it.

330ml can. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a fresh, crisp, somewhat light, juicy lemon citrus, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Can. Clear red brown with a dense off-white head that lasts OK. Aroma of oranges and their blossoms, toffee, some plum. Light bodied. Dryish. The malt gets blown past by the hops, which are first citrusy then peppery and a little earthy. Tasty but seems to defeat its own balance.

The name is a brand apparently, not just a misspelling of budgie. Can. Gold with a white head. Aroma of mandarin, pineapple, crackers, some peach. Light bodied, a bit of an antacid feel. Snappy finish. Not bad.

Can. Slightly cloudy pale orange with a white head that's very soon a little raft of bubbles. 3- Lots of citrus in the aroma with hayish malt. It is dry but it is also vacant except for a punch of lemon, fingerlime and pepper. Refreshing, I guess.

Pour hazy yellow with a small head.Nose shows coconut, mango, guava, cherry and clean malt.Flavours include more coconut, guava, vanilla and dill.

29/4/2023. Can bought in an Aussie drinks store, don't recall which. Pours clear gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma of old hops, orange, stone fruit, caramel, pineapple cubes, pine, dank notes. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and a slight metallic edge. Moderate body, oily, average carbonation. Some bitterness to finish, a bit old school, and overall quite a poor reflection on this great band.
