Draught @ the brewpub. Pours nearly clear dark copper brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of caramel and yeast, and hoppy touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish notes of caramel malt and touches of fruit. Bitterish, slightly metallic aftertaste. Soft carbonation. Not bad but nothing really impressive, either.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable white head. Clear aroma of roast and caramel malt, with estery notes. Sweet flavour of caramel, with malty, bready and roasty notes. Sweet aftertaste with roasty hints. A little watery but okay. Much better than many other beers of the same type.

Draught, 4.8% @ the brewpub. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable, creamy tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and yeast, with touches of roast and hops. Roasty flavour with touches of hops and sweet notes of caramel malt. Hints of yeast and coffee. Lingering, roasty and malty aftertaste. Well-balanced and tasty. A very decent Schwarzbier!

Draught, 4.8% @ the brewpub. Pours hazy light amber with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with hoppy and grainy notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish touches of malt and heavy estery notes. Rough and bitter aftertaste. High carbonation. Drinkable but unnecessarily rough.

Tap at Craftbeerfestival Magdeburg. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Mild-malty aroma. Starts mild malty, light fruity notes of lemon, not too dry. Finish a bit moldy. Still okay.

Wenig röstiger, leider langweilig leerer Antrunk ohne große Aromen. Bitter und wenig hopfig zum Ende, Röstnoten sind nur minimal vorhanden. Geringfügig säuerlich. Langweilig. 12/8/8/7//8
