CAN 50 CL. Hazy golden, big creamy head. The aroma is what malt sweetness, light fruity tartness, some boiled veggies. Similar taste, creamy wheat malts, well carbonated, more dms-y corn here. No spicy phenolics or real fruity esters. Not really bad, but far from the best of breed.

Büchse: Golden, clear, stable creamy and lacy white head; mild sweetish-bitter citrussy-grainy nose, maybe some hidden metallic traces ; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied, at least soft; short delicate bitter-sweet finish. Not too bad, at least a drinkable thirst-quencher...

Sampled from 0.5 l can from ’EDEKA Preller’ (Breckerfeld), best before July 2017. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and a little fruity aroma of banana, cloves and a touch of pear. Sweetish, moderately yeasty-spicy and a little fruity taste of banana, cloves and some pear, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little sourish and rather yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Not bad!

Sampled from 0.5 l can as ’2,5 Original Radler’, best before September 2017. Clear, very pale golden yellow with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, artificially fruity aroma of lemonade and wet sponge. Very sweet, grainy and artificially fruity taste of lemonade, grains, sime soap and wet sponge, followed by a short, slightly sourish, sugary finish. Thin to medium body, a little astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not very tasty, but still drinkable.

Faint, sweetish, slightly grassy-spicy aroma of straw, a touch of grains and slight hints of citrus. Sweetish, a little bitter, slightly grassy-spicy and a little fruity taste of grains, straw, cardboard and hints of iron, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little grassy-spicy and a bit metallic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable, not too bad.

pours a clear dark amber/mahogany with a quickly disappearing white head and little lacing. aroma of cola, caramel, hay. some sour notes on the nose. the only plus is that the cola is not too sweet and not overwhelming, but it still tastes cheap and not good. flavour of citrus. aftertaste of artificial sweetener/diet coke, which I do not like at all.
