MòR is Scottish Gaelic for great, so naturally our beers are great too. It can also mean big, just like the flavour we craft into each brew.
All our beer is craft brewed in small batches at our Dundee brewery in Kellas, Tayside.
None of our beer is filtered or pasteurised. Plus it’s all Vegan-Friendly, which means fuller, fresher, longer lasting flavours for everyone.
First brewed early 2012 as Mòr Brewing Ltd. Relaunched in 2019 under new ownership with new recipes, new branding and a trained MSc qualified head brewer.

Cask (gravity) @ Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival (2014), Nottingham Castle, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EL. [ As MòR Calm & Wise! ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, open and frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, citrus, zest. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, pale malt, citrus, zest. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141010]

[ As MòR Scode! ].Clear medium amber orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, pale malt, light apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, apple, fruity, caramel, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20141011]

330ml bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours golden with a short-lived white head. Aromas of plant stalks, floral hops, soapy. Taste is floral, sweet finish.

330ml bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aromas of malt, faint lemon. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet finish. Not very interesting but ok.
