Big thank you to Sabine & Frank for this 0,33 l bottle. Golden in the glass, one finger head, slightly cloudy. Intensive grassy grainy aroma, nearly like silage. Some caramel in the background. Taste is increasing malty, with caramel, grassy sweetness and pale grain. Some decent caramel in the second row with soft herbs elements. Above average carbonated. Nice one.

Aroma of malt, lots of yeast, spices, peppery notes, citrussy fruits, floral notes, light hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a light to moderate bitter finish. A decent and complex Tripel.

Bottle at home. Aroma of bready malt, yeast, sugar, some alcohol, fruits. Flavour is rather sweet, cloying and sticky. Body is medium. Overly sweet and unbalanced Tripel.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. As Arend Winter. Sweet and spicy with an aroma of brown malt, yeast, winter spices, and some liquorice root. Medium body, too sweet and spiced for me.

Bottle from BiervanEijk, Steenwijk. Nice Belgian yeast profile with grainy malt, peppery yeast, hint of citrus, grassy hop. Flavour is moderate bitter and light sweet. Body is medium. Elegant and balanced Belgian Ale, I could knock back a few of these.
