Description
3 Stars Brewing Company is a brewery delivering on the promise of bringing locally hand crafted ales to the DC beer community. The company was founded by Dave Coleman and Mike McGarvey, two longtime friends who decided to seize the opportunity to build a brewery and produce high quality beer in the District of Columbia – hoping to make this world-class city a world-class craft beer destination.
To date, the brewing team at 3 Stars has released over 200 different distinctive beers and cultivated a reputation for pushing the envelope when it comes to creativity. They have been recognized for their commitment to their craft, and have received multiple awards for their achievements.

[12oz can of Cumulonimbus, from Total Wines, Naples, FL.] A hazy pale amber pour with a billowing cream coloured head; aroma of berries and grassy hops; soft in the mouth with lots of sweet berry flavours, particularly strawberry; then a slightly tarter finish. Not at all what I was expecting, but rather good.

Draught, half pint. @«Mash Beer Festival», Barcelona (Spain), 25/10/2019. Black with a medium tan head. Aroma is intense coffee and soft licorice. Taste is peanut butter, capuccino and roasted malts leading to a medium roasty finish. Next one please!

Can, from City Hops. Pours faintly cloudy golden with large foamy off-white head, faint citrus aroma, low carbonation, bitter, lightly salty citrus peel taste, smooth body, long bitter finish. Very citrusy.

12oz can pours out hazy pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is citrus hop forward grassy wheat notes. Taste is more of the nice citrus juice hops grass and bread malts.
