Bottle at the March DC Tasting, brought by Travlr! Thanks! Poured a dark golden brown color with a light tan head. Aroma was booze, whiskey, caramel notes. Woody, some heavy alcohol notes still on this one, but a little more mellow than I would have expected now knowing the alcohol percentage.

Sampled on draft this beer poured almost black with a medium sized foamy beige head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was faint with wood, coffee and chocolate. The flavor was toasty with wood, coffee and cocoa followed by floral hops. Long finish. Medium body. Ok.

Bottle from Modern Liquors. Nice crisp, dry Saison. Pours out with a pale golden body, fluffy, area head. While head dissipates, streaky lacing remains. Light citrus aroma reminds of pineapple and grapefruit. Other floral notes come into the taste, tangy finish. Light and tasty.

On tap at Pizza Paradiso - DuPont Circle. Light golden, semi fizzy, tart, but not overly done. Light bodied, with some lingering tartness, Pretty good adaptation of the Berliner weisse style.
