Pours from the bottle a slightly hazy orange-amber color with a medium thin white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. The aroma is oaky with notes of yeast, fruit and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of oak, tart citrus, mildly funky yeast and doughy malt. The finish is oaky and tart with a lemony aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Slightly hazy amber-brown color with a medium light beige head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Aroma of chocolate, roasted nuts and slight hops. Light-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, salted nuts and mild earthy hop. The finish is sweet with a peanut butter cup aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear straw color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lace. Malty aroma with fruit and mild hops in the background. Light-bodied with flavors of grainy malt, mild grassy hops and fruit. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
