Bottle from Rheged. Appearance - opaque black, olive sheen, thin white head. Nose - roast and very dark chocolate. Taste - burnt bread, dried molasses note. Palate - medium bodied. The middle section is crunchy in texture. Dry burnt finish. Overall - decent if a bit challenging. I’d say dry stout for style.

Bottle from Czerwik, Brighouse. Golden with a small head. Inoffensive golden ale, very drinkable despite lacking much character. Certainly a session ale. Has a small pale ale texture.

Bottle from Rheged. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - toffee, brown bread and just a hint of red fruits. Taste - brown bread, light spice and a touch of caramel. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a long dry crunchy finish. Overall - a decent bitter. Would buy another.

Bottle from Rheged. Appearance - golden with a quickly disappearing head. Nose - light salt and soap along with lemon and custard creams. Taste - more salt and soap again. And lemon again. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - is there a source of water that is particularly mineral or salt. It was ok.
