(Bottle, 0.5l - BB 4.1.2025, from the brewery, 20240823) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, honey, mild notes of Belgian style yeast and floralness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, fruitiness, Belgian style yeast, metal, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had spiciness, malts and bitterness. A clean brew with some harsh flavours.

33cl bottle. Pours black with a tanned head. Sweet blackcurant aroma with roast notes; dark chocolate, malt and dark berries. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a light bitterness. Sweet and fruity, fairly drinkable, but not a favourite.

50cl bottle from Rimi Hyper Apelsīns, Ādaži. Pours clear, deep golden with a moderate, white head. Mild malty aroma with fruity notes; medium ripe bananas, hints of Belgian yeast, dried fruits and caramel. Sweet and mild with rather low flavour intensity and ditto bitterness. Quite drinkable, but slightly on the watery side. More like an amber with hints of Belgian yeast than a monastery beer.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Yellowish golden colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is floral, some herbal, grainy and grassy tones. Flavour is gloral, grassy, grainy and some mild herbal and mild wooden tones as well. Nicely balanced and rather crisp.

33cl bottle from Circle K, Bauskas. Liquid rye bread. Sweet, smooth and malty with notes of wort, dark fruits and caramel. On the sweet side, but quite enjoyable.

--Bottled, from random store in Daugavpils. -- Clear golden, rich firm head. Intense floral noble hop aroma. Dry with light to medium body and crisp, firm mouthfeel. Grainy malt with floral honey and spicy grass. Long bitter finish . Excellent, aromaic, hoppy pilsener.
