Tap at Alus Namai. Fascinating nose--honey, spice, bread, some hay and pears. Medium brown with lace. Tasty flavor, caramel, straw, ligtly fruity. Nice taste, though thin. Nicely drinkable.

No head. Hazy brown body. Smells exactly like fresh home-baked bread dough. Sweet bready yeasty taste with rye and raisins notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, flat mouthfeel. No real aftertaste. Lingering rye and raisins finish. Lovely! Amazingly drinkable. (0.4l draft at brewery.)

Draught@Alaus Namai
Murky nut brown color, steady creamy off-white head. Malts, wort and dark bread in the nose. Medium-bodied, low carbonation. Bready, worty, sweetish beer. This is like drinking some wheat beer from the brewery tank 3 days after brewing. Like Per wrote, really really interesting beer.

Second rating at the brewery: Coarse beige head. Hazy dark brown body. Intensely fruity banana aroma with earthy caramelly musty notes. Dryish resiny earthy fruity taste, surprisingly clean. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth, kind of flat mouthfeel. Dryish earthy banana aftertaste with roasty vaguely smoky rye notes. Really nice. Clean and easy-drinking. (0.4l draft at the brewery.) 4,6,4,7,15 = 3.6.
Initial rating without knowing what it was: Medium beige lasting head. Hazy deep red body. Rye and banana aroma with earthy floral herbal notes. Sweetish herbal floral taste with earthy fruity notes. Mild soft mouthfeel. Light body. Not much taste, and it quickly fades to nothing. Aftertaste has faint hoppy nettle notes. Disappointing, really. (0.5l draft at Alaus Namai, Vilnius.) 6,4,5,3,12=3.0

Draught at Alus Namai, Vilnius. Murky brown, no head. The aroma is toasty with mild honey. Mild yeasty cellar tones, notes of fudge. Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Drier finish with some bitterness. Distantly reminiscent of sahti. Shockingly different at first, but really superbly drinkable. One of the most interesting beers I’ve had this year!
