Tap at Prague Beer Fest 2024. Hazy golden body, lasting white head. Lovely citric notes in the aroma, followed by NZ herb touches. Lean, dry, mild taste, oniony, citric, but quite nice overall!

# 4192; 4/2024. Herbal, hoppy spicy, malty, slightly yeasy aroma. Clear gold body; lacing white head. Malty, grainy and strong herbal and herbal spicy, slightly perfumy. Wow, such a good and strong hoppy bohemian pilsener. 0,5, bottle, supermarket, Pilsen (Bohemia, CZ).

On tap pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice rich malts some caramel and bread notes. Taste is more of the nice toasted malts citrus hops and a little bitter pithy note on the end.

50 cl can @ Hervanta, BBE 01/2026. Rated on 24.01.2024- Aroma has licorice and some English feeling. Flavour has salty licorice, very strong herbal tones and peat. Remings me of liquor filled candies. 7-3-7-3-15 = 3.5 50 cl can @ Huikas, BBE 01/2026 Aroma has licorice and liquor. Flavour has licorice, chocolate amd alcohol. Strong on alcohol but kind of works as slow sipper.

Es ist offenbar West-Tschechien-Saison im Pivovarský klub. Nach Bieren von Raven und Zlatá kráva kommt dieses Hazy IPA aus Sokolov 🦅. Es ist nicht so fruchtig wie andere, hat dafür aber coole 😎 grasig-krautige Hopfennoten 🌿, die es schön spritzig machen, wenn es tatsächlich schon irgendwie pflanzlich 🌵 wirkt. Gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber nicht übel.

(Draught at Craft House Prague, 23 July 2023) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with grapefruit, tropical fruit, resin and herbs. Fruity, malty, hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, resin, tropical fruit and a balanced citric/resiny, almost metallic, bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Possibly a bit sharp, but really rich and tasty. Very nice.

Tap at Pivní lok, Cheb. Well well, I had no clue I stumbled onto a rare occasion where this beer, brewed for a place in Aš, which is almost as west as it goes for CZ, in Cheb. Missing from rating sites too, cool! Hazy amber body, thick off-white head. Berry-like soft aroma, bit tart, though it could be the tap (or older keg?). Berry notes in the soft taste, orange, light caramel, bready touches, caramel, nice! Prickly carbonation. Actually a fun little red ale!
