[Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2004] A red-brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, while the flavor is of caramel combined with notes of roasted malt, lending the beer a dryness, but the body is thin.

A decent malt palate as expected, leading to a slightly acidic finish. Yeah, my notes suck but it was the end of the fest and I least I was coherent to remember that I hadn’t found this when I was in Manchester.
