From bottle, blindtasting #16. Pours hazy orange with a fully gone head. Wineous and fruity aroma. Dry brett note. Sweet and fruity flavoured, light metallic note. Light acidic bite in the finish. Lingering sweet and fruity finish with a nice brett dryness. Ends bitter, slight sour and fruity finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy amber golden with a small off-white head. Soft aroma of roasted malt, nuts and overripe fruit. Medium body with sweetish roasted malt and again some oxidized accents of overripe fruit. Very fruity indeed. Dry and lightly bitter finish. 250308

Hazy dark amber with small off white head. Sweet aroma with fruity and caramel notes. Sweet hoppy flavor with grapefruit and caramel notes. Ends bitter.

From bottle, 2A Papsoes New Zealand vs US blind tasting. Pours hazy orange/brown with a lacing off-white head. Light wineous and mild hoppy aroma. Flavour is light hoppy and mild caramel with a light chocolate smoothness. Light citrusy and mild liqourice-ish flavour into the finish. Toffee like caramel in the far finish.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a slightly hazy amber with a creamy, off-white head. Sweet aroma of overripe fruit and caramel. Medium-bodied with a fairly solid malt base and some nutty accents - again flavours of overripe fruit. Very subdued bitternes. Very pleasant and quaffable. 130208

Bottle at home with Tom and Royce... The 2nd From my Sister.... big shout goes out to her for not bringing home lager ... nice sweet malt barley wine nose ... tart hoppy ... wonderfull but this pink elephant need a few more year and to spread his ears and learn to fly ...

Brown colour. Chewy toffee & earth aroma with hints of molasses. Soft, chewy body with slight raisin and molasses. Malty...sweet but quite soft in the finish.

Bottled. Very dark brown. Papery roasty malt aroma. Dryish with firm but clean malt back bone, Lightly oxidized, but still with a lot of malt flavours intact. Low bitterness.

Bottled. Clear pale brown, small head. Vintage aroma of cherry and paper. Sweetish and toffeeish with notes of mustard. Nicely malty with low hop rate and lightly salty finish.
