650mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of dry cocoa and metallic notes. Flavour brings out cocoa notes, vanilla, and some metallic notes. Thin, but nicely flavoured. It's okay.

Bottle from Central City Liquor Store, Surrey
Hazy deep blond color, with medium sized compact head. Delicate aroma of malt, with a hint of hay. Smooth mouthfeel, with easy malt flavor, a touch of metallic grass and very light biscuity trace; correct bitterness.
Easy beer but pleasant and thirstquenching.

750 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with almost no head. Aromas of cocoa powder and heavily roasted malts. Dry. Flavors of black coffee and nuts. Somewhat acidic bitter finish.

On tap at central city winter cask event. Pours a dark mahogany with light head. Aromas of grass and not much else. Flavors of grass, citrus, and toasted malts. So-so from the keg.

Hazy amber color with medium head. Nice caramel aroma, dry, with a biscuity hint. Dry mouthfeel; caramel, with a nice character from the yeast/fermentation, and just a bit of character from the hops; well bitter.
More Bitter than India Session Ale. Good.

Cask - Toasted malts and toffee. Clear dark brown with a decent off white head. Roasted malts, nutty and some grain. Very smooth and well balanced, not bitterness but no significant sweetness either. Classic English style. Easy drinking.

650mL bottle, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out metallic notes, some crackery malt, and some mild hops. Flavour brings out some weird chemically hops, some detergent, and some crackery malt. The chemical notes really destroy this. Not sure if this is the desired flavour profile, but this isn't very drinkable. Not good.

@Pauls new condo Tasting–22oz/650ml bottle shared by puzzl-thin offwhite-dk amber/brown. A-soft pine, some med malt. T-pine/earthy hops, some med malt-dusty cocoa.
