Description
Acorn Brewery is born and bred in Wombwell Barnsley, where we have been growing up since 2003. Moved to current address in October 2007. Since the very first brew of Acorn Barnsley Bitter back in 2003 the brewery has amassed over 50 awards for the quality of its’ cask and bottled beers

On tap at the Golden Eagle beer Festival 2018. Almost black colour with a tan head. Dark malty chocolate aroma slight liquorice. Dry taste. Full rich and smooth body.

Cask at the Red Lion, Amblecote. Pours light gold with a large head. Aroma is eggy straw and a little strawberry. Taste has straw to start. Light lemon finish. A little eggy.

Cask @ Pumproom, Halifax. Deeper amber with a creamy-frothy head. Deep tasting with a full-bodied hoppiness. Certainly a slower supping ale.
