Acorn Brewery is born and bred in Wombwell Barnsley, where we have been growing up since 2003. Moved to current address in October 2007. Since the very first brew of Acorn Barnsley Bitter back in 2003 the brewery has amassed over 50 awards for the quality of its’ cask and bottled beers

Copper caramel, clear, off white head
Aroma of soft sweet caramel, slight toffee
Taste as aroma, dab of red fruits, nice soft toffee caramel malts, fruity malts, slight bitter hop
Palate - Soft sweet, smooth texture, easy. Finish of soft malts
Overall - Nice easy mild

Cask at the standing order... Dark red brown... Thin tan lacing... Soft sweet woody toffee fruit malt.. Caramel toffee fruit.. Soft sweet woody chocolate roast. Little blackcurrant

Pint at Red Lion Jdw, Doncaster. Medium creamy beige head. Clear almost black pour. Easy drinking.

Cask at the Caley Picture House. Pours clear dark ruby with a thin beige head. Aromas of nutty chocolate, vanilla. Taste is more of the same. Solid mild.
