Eh. Alright. Nothing special at all. Kind of nasty metalic flavor. Nothing overly special, but nothing horrible.

(On tap) Pretty, clear amber with an off-white head. Very vague aroma, perhaps I do detect a whiff of malt - to be polite. Thin and watery with vague traces of malt. Not really that different from the standard Dos Equis - apart from the colour. 160406

Pale gold with a medium white head. Funny aroma that I can’t put words to, weak malt flavor with the funny odor appearing in it’s taste.

Bottle. Eh, pretty neutral smell, a slight malty flavor. Water, slight metalic flavor. Nothing spectacular, but not overly bad.

Not so bad. It is light and yellow and lacks aroma and flavor, but there isn’t a thing offensive about it.

bottle - Pours like any other fizzy, yellow pale lager. It doesn’t look all that good, it doesn’t smell like much, and it doesn’t taste like much. Really, what’s the point? It’s watery, grainy, and not worth it. Just get whatever domestic is on sale if this is all you want.

First ratingBottle in Monterrey, Mexico, September 2005.Amber towards brown color, white head. Served ice cold but also nice when warming up a bit. Hoppy scent and taste, one of the better Mexican beers I’ve tried.6/3/6/3/13=3.1RerateBottle from Señor Frogs, Costa Maya, Mexico. End of January 2014.Amber color, white head. More malty scent and taste than I remembered it to be. Medium mouthfeel, medium low bitterness. Still plenty of more character than many other generic lagers I’ve had from Mexico, but not as outstanding towards other beers than I remembered it to be. Leaving the older rating scores though, close enough.6/3/6/3/13=3.1

Bottled. Pale golden with a small diminishing head. The aroma is weak and grassy, with some hints of hops. Unpleasant, weak flavor with some hops in it (hopoil?). Thin and watery body. This beer isn’t even worth drinking on a hot summer day. (060325)

No real taste here. Lacked a definable flavor and is just another pale lager. If you want to look like you’re trying something new in the Mexican restaurant, but just want a Bud/Coors, have a Tecate.
